Caseblocks helps Castlight create disruptive technology

Castlight Financial, a fintech startup, contracted EmergeAdapt Professional Services to support the design and build of a new consumer financial affordability platform.

Castlight aims to revolutionise the way affordability for consumer credit products is assessed by bringing together a complete view of the consumer’s income and expenditure in one place. In a market first, lenders, brokers and credit providers will be able to access a report which combines the consumer’s credit report with transactions from the consumer’s bank accounts.

The platform encourages Financial Service Providers to lend more responsibly and helps consumers borrow what they can afford after going through a slick Q&A where banking transactions are categorised. Consumers are also presented with a personal affordability passport.
